I started my artistic endeavor in 1998 at the age of 38. I had always enjoyed gardening and nature, so creating garden art appealed to my creative senses. I am self-taught in all aspects of my artwork including: design creation, soldering techniques, and the use of propane oxygen torch.
As in gardenscapes, my artwork has evolved over the years from a simple one ring kinetic water sculpture, to my geometric designs. When my geometric designs spin, they create an optical illusion and mesmeric spray pattern.
I created my artwork to compliment each other as nature does to provide a soothing relaxed state of mind in our digital world. As I am coloring the globes, it reminds me of a beautiful palette of flowers and vegetation.
I feel my art gives one a connection to the earth and its bountiful gifts.
